Confiseur Bachmann's Lucerne lebkuchen is a traditional pastry, which has successfully developed into a very popular speciality. The production of the lebkuchen is a tradition that has been maintained since already four generations.
Large parts of the traditional pastry consists of Central Switzerland fresh cream and concentrated pear juice from the amstutz Manufaktur in Rothenburg. The original recipe is handed down from generation to generation in our family and contains a special lebkuchen spice, which is produced after a well-kept secret. A culinary delight of the highest class and one of Switzerland's big pastry specialties. Often our Lucerne lebkuchen is served as a dessert with semi-liquid whipped cream.
