Regional Suppliers – A Sign of Sustainability and Roots

Our goal is to spoil you from morning to evening with uncomplicated, contemporary, and high-quality culinary delights. This ranges from coffee and tea to bread and fine pastries, to a wide variety of snacks and lunch options, and fine Swiss chocolate. Fresh daily, straightforward, and homemade. Whenever possible, we rely on regional suppliers, because we love our homeland and value locality.

Parmino, Alpnach
When you sprinkle cheese over our pasta and gnocchi, this grated hard cheese comes from Parmino in Alpnach. The cheese is produced from regional milk in artisanal small businesses.

Heinzer Metzgerei GmbH, Muotathal
Various meat and cold cut products come from Heinzer Butchery in Muotathal. The butchery was founded in 1920, is now run by the third generation, and employs over 50 staff members. They source meat from around 80 farmers in the region, such as the well-known "weather prophet" Roman Ulrich from Bisisthal. They guarantee Heinzer that the livestock comes from animal-friendly, natural, and controlled farming.

Molki Stans, Stans
The former Barmettler dairy in the heart of Stans was taken over in 2020 by Axel Dippold and Christian Sulzberger. The cheesery passionately produces authentic products by hand, using raw materials from the region. The milk comes from farms directly behind the village at the foot of Stanserhorn, up to Oberdorf and in Stanserboden.

Max Felchlin AG, Ibach
Our chocolate comes from the traditional Swiss company Max Felchlin AG, which has stood for the finest Swiss chocolate and uncompromising quality for over 100 years. Felchlin produces in Ibach SZ.
Together with them, we developed a unique recipe for Bachmann milk chocolate, from which we make our chocolate specialties. For our Grand Cru chocolate products, we also source various carefully selected couvertures from Felchlin, based on Maracaibo cocoa.

Biohof Stalder, Sempach
We source our spelt for Demeter spelt bread from Biohof Stalder in Sempach. The Stalder family grows spelt and other grains here in harmony with nature and according to the strict standards of the Demeter label. The label represents specialties produced using the oldest and strictest form of farming. With closed cycles and a holistic approach to people, nature, and animals, particularly sustainable foods are created.

Sel des Alpes, Bex
It is called the "White Gold of the Alps": Sel des Alpes from the salt mine in Bex, Vaud. The salt has been enclosed in the rock for millions of years and is extracted with mountain water. For more than 500 years, the mine in Bex has been producing its salt using green energy from the local hydropower plant. This creates one of the purest salts in the world.

Holderhof Produkte AG
Our organic teas and juices are produced by Holderhof Produkte AG. The foundation of the company was laid over twenty years ago by Christof Schenk, who planted an elder tree on the family farm. Today, the company has three locations and produces around 70 million bottles of syrups, soft drinks, and fruit juices with around 100 employees. The vision from the beginning until today has remained: to process their own high-quality, natural raw materials, whenever possible in organic quality, into special beverages without preservatives.

Ottiger Spezialitäten AG, Ballwil
This family business was founded in 1974 and has remained loyal to its location in Ballwil ever since. Ottiger proudly calls its products “homemade.” They deliberately avoid technologies or processes that are not available in a home kitchen. Great importance is placed on ingredient quality, and each batch is limited to a maximum of 30 kg of fruit to preserve the texture of the raw materials. That is why our jams at Bachmann taste so good.

CAG Cartonnagen AG
We have been working with CAG Cartonnagen AG for decades. The company from Stans produces, among other things, cake boxes for us. CAG succeeds in meeting our needs optimally. Their top priority is the continuous improvement and development of the company, its products, and its services. Through quality management, they also ensure that the defined goals are achieved in order to meet today’s customer requirements. We count on that!
