Scope
The General Terms and Conditions apply to all legal transactions concluded via the online shop www.confiserie.ch (hereinafter referred to as “online shop”).
The online shop is operated by Confiseur Bachmann AG.
2 Quality
Baking and confectionery have been a tradition in our family for over 120 years. Now in its fourth generation, Confiseur Bachmann produces a wonderful range of exquisite delicacies and creations for you every day.
We place great importance on the freshness and quality of our products and use only natural raw materials. We consistently avoid chemical additives, preservatives, and artificial flavors.
3 Payment methods
To make the payment process as easy as possible for you, we offer a variety of payment methods.
Paypal
PayPal is the online payment service that allows you to pay securely, easily, and quickly on the Internet—free of charge. Your bank or credit card details are only stored with PayPal. This means that they are not sent over the Internet again with every online purchase. You can pay with just two clicks. This is because you can access your bank or credit card details stored with PayPal instead of having to re-enter them with every purchase. PayPal payments are received quickly. Ordering on account is only possible within Switzerland, with a minimum order value of at least CHF 70. Confiseur Bachmann AG reserves the right to request advance payment for orders on account. Purchases on account (including installment payments) are processed by CembraPay AG. The terms and conditions and privacy policy of CembraPay AG apply.
4 Delivery terms
Please note that not all products are suitable for postal delivery. Goods can be delivered in the following ways: postal delivery, delivery, or collection.
Confiseur Bachmann AG cannot accept liability for undeliverable or delayed delivery of products if the cause is an incorrect delivery address, absence of the recipient, or customs issues.
Delivery in the destination country is carried out in accordance with the regulations applicable there. In some countries, customs clearance costs and import duties may apply. These vary depending on the destination country and the value of the goods. They are not included in the order confirmation and must be paid by the recipient if they apply. If the recipient refuses to pay the customs clearance costs and import duties, a chargeback fee will be charged.
4.1 Domestic postal delivery
Orders for standard products that are available within one day (see product details) will be shipped on the day after the order is received. You will receive our order confirmation by email in advance.

22 specialist stores in Lucerne, Emmenbrücke, Kriens, Stans, Zug, Zurich, and Spreitenbach can be selected as pickup locations during the ordering process. Please note the store opening hours. On Sundays, the specialist stores at Lucerne train station, Schwanenplatz, and Zurich Bahnhofstrasse are open.
4.4 Delivery service
Courier deliveries in Switzerland outside Lucerne and the surrounding area are charged at CHF 1.20 per kilometer traveled. Please note that delivery times are Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Delivery costs are calculated automatically depending on the location and displayed in the shop. The delivery time is +/- 60 minutes from your specified delivery time. 4.4 Delivery service
5 Goods inspection
The buyer must check the goods for completeness upon arrival. If there are any defects or missing items, this must be reported to Confiseur Bachmann AG within 3 working days of arrival. In the event of a defect, you are entitled to a replacement delivery.
If the defect is not remedied by the replacement delivery, a reduction in the purchase price may be agreed or the contract may be rescinded by mutual agreement. In the case of the delivery of perishable goods such as cakes, pastries, etc., warranty claims expire after the printed expiration date.
6 Ordering & Prices
6.1 Orders
These will be confirmed within 24 hours (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays). Until confirmation, the customer has the option to change or cancel the order. Within the same period, we may also inform the buyer that we are unable to deliver the goods they have ordered. The purchase of alcoholic products is prohibited by law in Switzerland for persons under the age of 18. By purchasing such products, you hereby confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
We reserve the right to reject print orders that represent politically extremist views or do not comply with our moral and ethical principles without giving reasons. In this case, the cake will be delivered without a photo print.
6.2 Prices
All product prices are gross prices including statutory value added tax.
7 Privacy Policy
The privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data by Confiseur Bachmann AG.
