Fig–Nut: The Power Bread

Our unique bread specialities show just how diverse bread can be. The first seasonal bread, “Grüner Teufel”, was made with peperoncini and our own homemade pesto, giving it a distinctly spicy flavour. The second seasonal bread, “Pane Pomodoro” – mixed with sun-dried tomatoes – was comparatively juicy and aromatic, evoking the feeling of an Italian holiday. Healthy yet super delicious: Our Bread of the Month – Fig–Nut

As the third Bread of the Month, we present our Fig–Nut bread. The dough for this new speciality is enriched with fresh walnuts and vitamin-rich figs. This not only provides a unique flavour, but also important nutrients. Did you know that figs are high in fibre, vitamins, and minerals such as magnesium and potassium? With their naturally low calorie content, these small fruits are a true superfood. Crunchy walnuts complement the figs with healthy omega-3 fatty acids.

With all these ingredients, our Bread of the Month is a genuine power bread and the perfect accompaniment to a cold platter or a fruity wine. Thanks to its exciting aromas, our Fig–Nut bread can also be enjoyed perfectly on its own. It is now available in all our specialist shops.
